Learn how to use simple 3D tool to model and design hard surface mechanical props and vehicles for a believable world.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This is an advanced course on modeling and designing vehicles, robotics and mechanical props for concept art. Following thorough research into the world will give us the setting and constraints for the effective design of technology. We will go over Vehicle chassis, robotics, suspension, hard surface design, and shape language. Students will design and fabricate mechanical systems using 3D software and create believable designs that simulate the real world application.
Students will need their own laptop + digital tablet to fully benefit from this live course.
It is recommended that students have strong knowledge with Photoshop and basic 3D sketchup modelling experience before taking this course.
You will need to submit a portfolio of your work to apply for this advanced class.
