Q: Are Talent Tree classes accredited?

A: Talent Tree classes are non-accredited courses focused on equipping students with the skills and foundation to produce industry-level work. As a non-accredited school, we don't offer diplomas or degrees. The good news is that neither are required to work as an artist in the industry. 

Q: Do I NEED TO SUBMIT A portfolio for classes?

Q: How big are the classes?

A: Each Talent Tree class is currently limited to 10 seats per class.

Q: When do classes start?

Q: What can I expect out of a CLASS?

A: All classes are 10 weeks/3 hours per session. Each class will come with theory lectures, demos, in-class assignments, one-on-one critiques, instructor paint-overs. Since Talent Tree classes are small in size, students can expect to have one-on-one time with their instructors and have their questions answered.

Q: How many classes SHOULD I TAKE?

A: Focused Full-Time Learning: 3-4 Classes
Students working Part-Time: 2 Classes
Students working Full-Time: 1 Class

Q: Will I be able to really learn everything in one CLASS?

A: Each class at Talent Tree has so much insight and content that it is common for students to retake the class 2-3 times to get a full grasp of everything the class introduces. By going through the course material multiple times, students are able to solidify their learning and get the practice they need. 

Q: Do I need a laptop/tablet?

A: Students should bring their own laptop or tablet to benefit fully from the class.

Q: What materials/programs do I need for class?

A: Each class will have their own requirements. Please refer to the individual course page for a list of materials/programs required.



Q: Where do classes take place?

A: Classes take place at our school in downtown Toronto.  2 Homewood Ave, Toronto. Room 202.

Q: Do you offer tours or sit-ins?

A: We have changed our policies on sit-ins as of summer 2019,Sit ins are only allowed for the first week of the semester.

A: We offered our first scholarship in the Fall 2018 semester, We will be offering more scholarships in the coming semesters of 2019.

Q: Do you offer international student visas?

A: We do not offer student visas, however; students may attend the school with a regular visitor's visa.

Q: Does Talent Tree OFFER refunds? / CAN I transfer into another class?

A:  If for any reason a student is unsatisfied with their class, they have the option of:

  1. Transferring into another class within the first 2 weeks of classes.

  2. Getting a full refund after the first week of class.*
